1. The First home computer was the Altair, Which became available in 1975.
2. The compact home computers of today are far powerful than the enormous machines installed in offices just 40 years ago.
3. The First completely electronic computer was buld between 1942 and 1946 at the university of Pennsylvania, USA, by J.Presper Eckert and John W. Mauchly. It was called ENIC, which stands for Electronic Numerical Integrator and Calculator. ENIC contained 18,000 valves, and used so mach electricity that it dimmed the city lights when first switched on.
